Train services between London and Manchester are provided by Cross Country, Arriva Trains Wales and Virgin Trains. Trains start departing from London Euston at 6:00 a.m and remain continues till 10:00 p.m with 3 trains departing every hour. The time required between these two stations for covering a total duration of 259 kilometers is about 2 hours and 18 minutes.


There is a slight variation in the train journey during weekends with 3 trains departing every hour between 6:30 a.m and 9:00 p.m on Saturdays and in between 8:00 a.m and 10:00 p.m on Sundays.


Journey on Sunday takes up to 3 hours and 50 minutes with 1 to 2 changes at Crewe and Warrington where passengers are not only required to change their trains, but also stations by walking from Bank Quay station to Central station but during weekdays all connections are direct.
