Train Services Between Cardiff and Leeds:


Trains start leaving Cardiff Central station at around 4:30 a.m. and remains operational till 10:00 p.m. These services are provided by Arriva Trains Wales, Cross Country, First Great Western, Virgin Trains and First TransPennine Express.
 

Leeds can be reached from Cardiff with at least one change at Manchester Piccadilly, Bristol Parkway or Birmingham New Street. The minimum time required to reach Leeds from Cardiff is approximately 4 hours and 46 minutes, but some overnight trains take upto to 10 hours to complete the journey.
 

20% of total passengers on this route travel on Sunday and Monday, whereas this percentage just reduces to only 9% on Tuesday.
