Train Services Between London and Leeds:


Trains to Leeds starts departing from London Kings Cross station at 6:00 a.m. in the morning and continues till 11:30 p.m. with 2 to 3 departures every hour. Train services are provided by East Coast.


During weekdays there are all direct connections between these two cities and require 2 hours and 11 minutes to complete the travel whereas weekend journeys are indirect and require at least one change either at York, Doncaster, Selby and Wakefield Kirkgate stations.


There is a slight variation in train schedule during weekends with trains departing from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays and between 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Sundays.


The busiest moving day is Sunday with 21% passengers whereas the least number of passengers travel on Saturday with 11%. During peak periods on weekdays fare price goes at the top level £125 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. while it remains £72.66 throughout the day.
