Train Services between Oxford & Edinburgh:
 

Train service providers between Oxford and Edinburgh Waverley stations are Cross Country, Virgin Trains, First TransPennine Express, First Great Western, and East Coast. Train services from Oxford station to Edinburgh station starts with the departure of very first train at 5:30 a.m. in the morning and remain operational till 5:30 p.m. with up to 2 trains departing each hour. The journey takes around 2 hours and 41 minutes to complete. But this schedule gets changed slightly during weekends with departure of trains between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
 

Even direct journey is feasible between these two but for indirect journey, passenger’s need to change up to 3 stations which are Didcot Parkway, Birmingham, York, Reading, Peterborough, Lancaster, Glasgow, Wigan, and London.
