Train Services between Birmingham & Edinburgh:

Trains to Edinburgh can be taken from Birmingham’s New Street railway station from 6:00 a.m. till 11:30 p.m. There are four service providers in Edinburgh which are Cross Country, First TransPennine Express, East Coast and Virgin Trains.

There is a facility of both direct and indirect trains between Birmingham and Edinburgh with a change required for indirect trains in Lancaster, Crewe, Newcastle, Glasgow Central, Preston, York, or Stafford railway stations.

Maximum number of passengers used these routes on Sunday with 22% of passengers, while Saturday is the least travel day with only 11% of passengers.
 

The maximum fare rate goes during the peak periods is about £108 while the minimum goes to £46 during off-peak periods.
