The T-hello sleeper train service is a joint venture of the Italian Railway services and the private transport corporation Veolia. It runs between Paris and Italy. In between it boards passengers at Milan, Verona and its last stop is at Venice. The passengers of the T-hello train service are given an option to choose between the sleeper class and the more economical couchette car. You will not find any ordinary seats in the T-hello train. It has got special berths that can be transformed into seats for the morning and evening purposes. Smoking is not allowed on the train. There is a restaurant car where you can order freshly prepared meals, or snacks and drinks. This train has an average speed of 100 mph. There are various types of accommodation available. The sleeper car can be a single bed, or double bed or triple bed. Staff members are present onboard to make your bed. Each car has an upper, middle and lower bed, depending on the occupancy. Each bed comes along with a pillow, blanket, sheets, a reading lamp and a charging point for your mobile phones and laptops. There are common toilets and washrooms present at the end of each coach. There are complimentary soaps, toothpaste, towels, etc present in the washroom. Each passenger is given a complementary mineral water bottle before going to sleep. During the morning and evening time the beds can be folded into seats, the middle bed can be converted into a table if needed. There is space above the window for the passenger to keep his belongings. The passengers are given keys for their respective compartments. These cabins cannot be opened from outside, not even with the keys present with the staff. There is a security camera present in the corridor to enhance the security.
A sleeper attendant is present in the staff. You can give him your ticket and passport before going to sleep. In this way you will not be disturbed in case your ticket or passport needs to be verified. Your passport will be returned in the morning. You are also given a complimentary breakfast in the morning. All the tickets are sold individually so that a passenger travelling alone can book a seat in a single, two or three bed compartment according to his choice and budget. Sharing a compartment is easy, because once you are in bed you do not have a visual contact with the person sleeping on the upper bed or the person in the lower bed, giving you an experience of being alone. The couchettes are the more economical options. Each compartment has four or six beds present on each side of the compartment. Each bed comes with a pillow, sheets, blanket and a reading lamp. All the compartments are air conditioned. There are certain compartments for ladies only. There is a very good restaurant car present where you can order a favourable meal while travelling. The T-hello train is an excellent choice to travel overnight.
